Everyone involved in NASCAR this summer was curious about the venue for Kyle Busch's 2023 races.
This past Tuesday, Busch revealed that he will join Richard Childress Racing and take Tyler Reddick's #8 for the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season. It was the greatest off-track story in the sport.
When he tweeted that Busch would be switching to the #8 vehicle the previous Thursday, Dale Earnhardt Jr. stirred a stir on social media.
Many saw it as confirmation that Busch would be joining Childress, but 40 minutes later, Dale Jr. tweeted another message
with 32 basketball-themed emojis, hinting that Busch would be joining 23XI Racing instead. Busch himself criticised Earnhardt for the first tweet.
