Two employees perished in a large fire at the BP oil refinery.

A significant fire that started at a British Petroleum facility on Tuesday night has claimed the lives of two workers.

The BP-Husky Toledo Refinery in Oregon, Ohio, experienced a fire on Tuesday night, the company reported.

Two of the company's employees were hurt at the facility, according to the initial report. They declared on Wednesday that the two injured workers had perished as a result of their wounds.

The company announced on Wednesday that two of its employees who were hurt in a fire at the BP-Husky Toledo Refinery had died. Our hearts go out to these two people's families and loved ones.

The BP confirmed that the fire was put out on Tuesday night at about 10.15 p.m. The plant was shut down and won't be operational again until Wednesday.
