According to sheriff's officers, a Texas father shot and killed his own kid on Monday while attempting to prevent him from hitting his mother.
The event happened early on Monday morning in the Spring district of the Houston metro area.
Deputies said that at approximately two in the morning local time, the 24-year-old male, who was allegedly intoxicated, went back to his parents' house on Rhodes Road.
Deputies claim that once he entered the house, he and his mother got into a fight.
The alleged altercation turned violent, and he allegedly tried to attack his mother with the bottle of alcohol he was holding.
