Thor is frequently portrayed in Marvel Comics as a himbo, a big-hearted, muscular dummy who depends on others to be the brains of the operation,
although the balance of power in the Marvel Universe has recently changed. Ikaris of the Eternals significantly better represents the role of the himbo as of Thor's current state quo.
Even Ikaris, though, has the capacity to evolve, and current Eternals advancements could cause him to lose his sense of self.
As the All-Father and King of Asgard, roles bestowed upon him after the conclusion of Jason Aaron and Russell Dauterman's War of the Realms,
Thor has recently been forced to play a far more active part in Asgardian civilization. Thor now has to step up and behave with more consideration and complexity,
which leaves him little time or room to play the Marvel Universe's Prime Himbo. There is now room for another hero to take the mantle of The Himbo Above All.
