Ka'dar Hollman, a cornerback with the San Francisco 49ers, was waived by the team on Sunday.
Hollman was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round in 2019, then in February he signed a reserve/futures contract with the San Francisco 49ers.
He played in all three preseason games and made nine tackles, but that wasn't good enough to make the final 53-man roster.
The deadline for teams to reduce their rosters to 53 players is Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, thus Hollman is now one of many available players waiting to hear from a new club.
Hollman played 18 games for the Packers this season and started one. He played defence well, making 10 stops and intercepting three passes.
The product of Toledo spent time on the practise squads of the Saints, Giants, and Texans in 2017.
