On Monday night, Russell Wilson made his Denver Broncos debut. Just so happened to be his first game against his old squad, the Seattle Seahawks, for the AFC West team.
When he returned to Lumen Field, the Pacific Northwest supporters weren't overjoyed to see him.
During warm-ups, the coin toss, and pretty much every time he onto the field during Monday Night Football, Wilson was met by a chorus of jeers.
Given everything the seasoned quarterback accomplished for Seattle's team, including two visits to the Super Bowl and one that resulted in triumph, it came as a bit of a shock.
Wilson, meanwhile, is not disturbed by the way Seahawks supporters greeted him on Monday night.
Regardless of your relationship with the company in the past, he is fully aware that it is a "hostile" environment to play.
