Reactions To The Dak Prescott Timeline News in the NFL

Week 1's thumb injury to Dak Prescott was reportedly expected to sideline him for more than a month. However, it appears that his recovery time has changed.

Prescott may return in as little as two weeks, says Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys. On Tuesday morning, he said that on 105.3 The Fan.

Obviously, this timescale for Prescott is optimistic. To rejoin Dallas' starting lineup, he must restart throwing and avoid setbacks.

"He will return in five weeks. Don't believe this crap about two weeks, "a supporter remarked.

"Three weeks after breaking his thumb, he still struggles to clutch a football well enough to play. Even if he could play, he would still be highly dubious."

Naturally, Cowboys supporters want the club to take its time with Prescott's recovery.
