Queen's death spurs new souvenirs

Unofficial mementos of Britain's longest-reigning monarch are already appearing in London's royal-themed gift shops and on websites .

Manager Ismayil Ibrahim of Cool Britannia, a boutique selling U.K.-themed memorabilia across the street from Buckingham Palace.


Tourists were purchasing queen bobbleheads and rubber ducks adorned with crowns from Ibrahim's shop alongside items depicting the new ruler.

But because of the mourning period, official goods will take longer to reach approved retailers.

Ibrahim expects even more demand for souvenirs remembering the queen's life and death in light of the high demand.
