Orlando has had one fatal plane crash recently due to the weather.

On Thursday afternoon, two aircraft crashed at Orlando Executive Airport.

The weather, according to the authorities, is to blame for the tragic accident that left one person dead and another gravely wounded.

Spokesperson for the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Carolyn Fennell told FOX 35 Orlando that one of the aircraft involved carried passengers .

The other did not. What number of individuals were on board the occupied plane is unclear.

A severe thunderstorm warning had been issued for the area at the time of the incident.

62-mile-per-hour winds and a microburst were observed. Typically linked with thunderstorms.
