On Dennis Schröder's Return to the Lakers, LeBron James

Schröder signed a one-year, $2.64 million contract with the Lakers on Friday, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium.

In 61 games, all of which he started, during his debut season with the Lake Show in 2020–21, Schröder averaged 15.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists,

and 1.1 steals while shooting 43.7 percent from the field and 33.5 percent from outside the arc.

Schröder averaged 14.3 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.8 assists, and 1.0 steals over the course of six postseason games that year while shooting 40 percent from the field

L.A. now has more point guard depth behind Russell Westbrook thanks to the 29-year-old.

And Schröder will be able to take over as the starter if Westbrook disappoints for the second consecutive season.
