According to reports, the high school football player from Washington State who was last week reported missing before being found in custody on suspicion of murder, killed his mother's ex-boyfriend.
The Pierce County Sheriff's Office reported on Saturday that 16-year-old Gabriel Michael Davies and another teen were detained on suspicion of second-degree murder, burglary,
and unlawful possession of a firearm in connection with the death of a 51-year-old man who was discovered fatally shot at home.
Although the victim's identity has not yet been made public by the authorities, the Tacoma News Tribune claimed on Sunday that he and Davies' mother "were a relationship"
and that the three of them had resided in the home where he was discovered dead for a number of years.
After his car was discovered abandoned, bloody, and close, along with his shattered cellphone, Davies was reported missing on Wednesday.
