MLB world responds to NY AG's demand for a Yankees game

The New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox game on Friday night is full of intrigue because Aaron Judge may hit his 61st home run of the year, which would put him one shy of Roger Maris' record.

Because they don't have to, Apple TV+ has declined offers to share the broadcast or cut-ins with other networks like YES or ESPN since they have exclusive rights to the game.

Letitia James, the attorney general of New York, has now intervened and asked Apple to disclose its products.

Many people who are unhappy about the issue appear to believe that you must sign up for and pay for Apple TV+ in order to watch the game. But as those who pay attention know,

Apple offers free access to every MLB game they broadcast, including this one.

As a result, it is actually more accessible than if the game had aired on YES, a pay network that necessitates a cable or satellite subscription.
