A Las Vegas man who was reportedly scattering his father's ashes in Minnesota was killed in a plane accident.

According to a news statement from the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office, Lee Cemensky, 58, was travelling with pilot Douglas Johnson,

61, of Emily, Minnesota, when their aircraft went down in a forested area close to Minnie Lake Drive on Sunday.

Deputies on the site subsequently discovered that Cemensky was dispersing his father's ashes, according to CWCSO Lieutenant Craig Katzenberger, 

according to CBS station KLAS-TV. An obituary from the Koop Funeral Home states that his father, Leo John Cemensky, passed away on August 7 at the age of 80 at his home in Fifty Lakes.

According to Joseph Hunter, the current manager of Brakes Plus who bought the company from Lee back in February, Lee was described as a "good guy," according to KLAS-TV.
