Jan. 6 House Panel Faces Key Decisions

There are just a few months left until the House Jan. 6 committee officially disbands, and yet the members are still arguing about how to best finish their job.

The panel has yet to decide whether to subpoena former President Trump and former Vice President Pence after their public hearings this summer revealed .

Decisions on whether to execute subpoenas issued to Republican members of Congress who have refused to participate with the probe.

Timeliness of handing over materials to the Justice Department, completing what it believes will be a thorough written report, and whether or not to make criminal referrals .

It will be the first hearing since July, but the panel hasn't said what it plans to discuss at 1 p.m.

Virginia Thomas, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has made progress in the investigation by agreeing to a voluntary interview .
