Georgia has been ordered to cancel its upcoming matches against Oklahoma due to SEC expansion.
The Southeastern Conference will likely grow in the future. After the shocking news that current Big-12 powerhouses Texas
and Oklahoma would both join the SEC in the summer of 2021, other programmes and conferences were forced to make significant changes.
These significant moves included USC and UCLA, both of which recently announced their intentions to join the Big-10 as the future of college football appears to be moving toward superconferences.
Currently, the Big-12's current TV deal expires in 2025, so Texas and OU won't join the SEC until then.
The two programmes might join sooner than anticipated if the rumours are true, which would benefit both schools as well as the SEC and ESPN.
