Ferrari employees can't buy new cars for this reason.

The average annual salary for a Ferrari employee in the US is $59,453, according to ZipRecruiter.

If the income structure in Italy is comparable, most of its workers can't afford a Ferrari, reduced or not. And that's OK since workers can't buy a Ferrari. Ever.

That's according to Enrico Galliera, who told The Drive in an interview.

Formula One (F1) drivers are exempt and may buy straight from the manufacturer since they're worldwide celebrities and excellent brand representatives.

Still, it makes sense with a worldwide customer base that outnumbers the automaker's annual output

So long as Ferrari has professional sports, movie stars, singers, and wealthy automobile fanatics on its waitlist, staff shouldn't hold their breath
