Ex-Titans WR joins Giants' practise squad

Injuries limited Marcus Johnson to seven games in 2021. Offseason with the 49ers.
The Giants signed a former Titans wide receiver to their practise squad five days before the 2022 NFL season opener.

Marcus Johnson spent the summer with the 49ers. Last week, rosters were cut to 53 players.

The 28-year-old grabbed nine catches for 160 yards last season. His 17.8 yards per reception topped the club among players with nine or more catches, and he had at least one 50-yard reception

In Week 10 against New Orleans, Johnson caught five catches for 100 yards.
Johnson participated in seven games and started three, making his Titans debut in 2021 vs Jacksonville.

His career-long injury problems continued at Tennessee. Johnson spent four weeks of 2021 on injured reserve and six games in 2022.

Johnson grabbed four catches for 48 yards and averaged 28 yards on three kickoff returns in the 49ers' three preseason games last month.
