Dolphins cut veteran wideout

Reportedly, Mohamed Sanu, formerly of the Atlanta Falcons, has been released by the Miami Dolphins.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network was the first to break the news.
Sanu joined the Dolphins in late July, but he was cut off the final roster.

They were the San Francisco 49ers, where he finished his career. He saw action in eight games last season, finishing with 15 catches for 177 yards.

He's also spent time with the Bengals and the Falcons. He spent four years with the Patriots, four with the Lions, and four with the 49ers.

Sanu has made 435 catches for 4,871 yards and 27 touchdowns in 136 career games.

In 2018, he had his greatest single season, as he caught 66 passes for 838 yards and four touchdowns.
With those stats, he'll be signed by a club before the season starts next week.
