Cowboys name QB starter after injury

Dallas Cowboys' starting quarterback is set.Head coach Mike McCarthy said Monday quarterback Cooper Rush would start until Dak Prescott returns.

He indicated the club would consider a third quarterback. This would rule out Tyler Huntley, Mason Rudolph, and Jimmy Garoppolo.

Rush has played nine games in five seasons with the Cowboys. In those games, he's thrown for 488 yards, 3 TDs, and 1 INT.

Since Prescott might be away for months, he'll have to keep the Cowboys afloat.

The Cowboys will play the Bengals on Sept

18 to get their first victory of the season. Start time is 4:25. ET.
