According to The Washington Post, authorities have confirmed that the condition of rookie running back for the Washington Commanders Brian Robinson Jr.,

who was shot multiple times during a probable attempted carjacking or robbery on Sunday, is stable.

Robinson suffered non-life-threatening wounds after being shot twice in Washington, D.C., just before six o'clock in the evening, 

according to authorities. Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network said that Robinson was shot in the lower torso.

Two young suspects are the subject of a police search. There are currently no known specifics about Robinson's health or the suspected carjacking.

The group released a statement saying, "We have been informed that Brian Robinson Jr. was the victim of an attempted armed robbery or carjacking in Washington, D.C.
