Just a few games into the 2022 season, a well-known college football quarterback is quitting his team. Hank Bachmeier of Boise State is that quarterback.

For the Broncos, the 2022 season has gotten off to a bad start. The squad led by Andy Avalos is 2-2 thus far this season after defeats to UTEP and most recently, Oregon State.

Tim Plough, the offensive coordinator, and Avalos decided to separate ways after UTEP's defeat. Avalos is currently losing his quarterback as a result.
