Black Adam, starring Dwayne Johnson, is destined for box office failure.

The Black Adam movie starring Dwayne Johnson for Warner Bros. Discovery and DC might not be performing as well at the box office as expected.

The latest DC movie is anticipated to debut in the $55 to $70 million range and earn a domestic total of about $135 to $175 million, according to early tracking projections.

These figures, although not bad, offer a pretty depressing picture for the Warner Bros. Discovery staff.

Early box office results are comparable to those of another Dwayne Johnson action movie, Hobbs & Shaw.

Johnson's greatest opening to date, outside of the main Fast and Furious films for Universal Pictures, was the $60 million Fast & Furious spin-off.

Given that none of the primary cast members from the franchise appeared in the spin-off, the figure was outstanding.
