Aaron Judge pace tracker for home runs

With 52 home runs, a then-rookie record, the Yankees slugger proved during his rookie season in 2017 that he was one of the top power hitters in the game.

Judge is the second-fastest player to 200 home runs in only 671 games of his career.

He is currently vying for even more historic landmarks. Only five players in MLB history have hit 60 home runs,

and Judge is on his way there. While it will be challenging for him to break the mark for the most home runs in a season,

he is making a strong push to surpass Roger Maris' 1961 mark of 61 for the American League.

Through September 16, Judge had played 140 games and hit 57 home runs. The regular season for the Yankees in 2022 has 18 games left.
