A $1.34 billion lottery prize has gone unclaimed, despite repeated calls from authorities for holders to verify their tickets.
lottery authorities are urging players to double-check their tickets for the winning number after the $1.34 billion Mega Millions jackpot was not claimed.
On July 29th, the winning ticket was purchased at a Speedway station in Des Plaines, Illinois.
Even after a month, lottery officials acknowledged on Friday that the winner is still a mystery.
Harold Mays, the head of the Illinois Department of the Lottery, stated, "We don't know whether or not they realise that they won a reward."
So, please double-check your tickets as soon as possible.
