6th Jan committee members blame Trump for unrest

Sunday, January 6th, members of the committee Schiff and Cheney discussed the ongoing investigation into the violence in the Capitol.

The panel has declared that when it chooses whether or not to send Trump for prosecution, it will do so with a unanimous vote.

Two of the committee's highest-ranking members have come out and stated they think Donald Trump did something improper during the Jan. 6 incident.

Committee members Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) spoke separately to the press over the weekend about the inquiry.

Although he thinks Trump should be referred, Schiff said he will make his judgement coincide with the rest of the committee so that they may move unanimously.

"We work with a great degree of unity and unanimity," Schiff told CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" on Sunday.
